• Paul Haber
      Deacon, Christ the King Church
"This country and its needs are beyond description. Two guarantees with any donation given are that 95% goes to the assistance of our brothers and sisters in Haiti and that this support changes lives."
    • Dr. Robert Perez
"Our (dental) team saw hundreds of patients with a variety of ailments not normally seen here at home. We did more dental surgery in one week than I would do in a year. And when I left, my basket was overflowing knowing that I helped my fellow man."
    • Rachel Halfaker
      Teens For Haiti
"I know no matter how much I contribute, it will bring some joy to at least one person. The people of St. Suzanne don't have the resources to lift themselves up, but I hope to be able to help them using the resources I have been blessed to have."

Teens for Haiti (TFH) was founded in 2012 by Sarah Cimino and Rachel Halfaker following a visit to Sainte Suzanne, Haiti. The community’s only power generator was broken and so upon their return to the states Cimino and Halfaker were inspired to help raise funds to replace the generator. Their efforts to help Sainte Suzanne was a success.
Since 2012, TFH became a 501(c)(3) organization under Renew Haiti, Inc. TFH is run by an executive board comprised of students from surrounding high schools in the Tampa community. In 2013, Cimino was one of 10 high school juniors from Tampa honored by the Athena Society as Dr. Sylvia Richardson Young Women of Promise for outstanding scholarship and leadership. In 2014, the Tampa/Hillsborough Human Rights Council awarded TFH the Youth Leadership Award for their work in Haiti.

Dance for Haiti
TFH will be hosted its third Dance for Haiti (D4H) on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Academy of the Holy Names and raised over $30,000. Funds from D4H will support the nutrition program for children in Sainte Suzanne, started the summer of 2016. Children are provided nutritious food products from Meds & Food For Kids made in Haiti, using Haitian workers, and when possible, Haitian raw materials.

Dance for Haiti (D4H)  is a student run fundraising event for high school students. In spring 2016, D4H raised over $15,000 to help fund start-up costs for a laboratory and nutrition program for children in the Notre Dame of Lourdes Medical Clinic in Sainte Suzanne.

Notre Dame of Lourdes Medical Clinic is located Sainte Suzanne, which is located in the northeast region of Haiti. Notre-Dame of Lourdes medical clinic serves a rural area in the mountains, population 27,000, with one doctor, Dr. Erlin Blaise. Healthcare is provided to the community year round.
